My Story
2004
First attempt: turned back 200 metres from the top. Broken rib. Terrified. Went back alone. Summited. Skied down.
"Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's action in the face of it."

CEO of Mammut, Cotswold Outdoor, Bever. Chairman of Nodor. Leading thousands of people through transformation across Europe. Thought the answer was always: work harder.

2022 — 2023

"Technology moves fast. People move when they feel safe enough to try."

Dutch-born, internationally raised, based between the Netherlands and the UK. Father of five. Ultra-endurance athlete. Still drawn to mountains and hard things.
